ABSTRACT: Rabies is a neglected worst infectious disease with high case fatality rate, human deaths and economic losses. The virus affects all warm blooded animals including humans and invariably dies from the disease once clinical signs are manifested. A cross-sectional study was conducted from January 2023 to March 2024 in Gondar town, Amhara Regiona Northwest Ethiopia, with the objectives to investigate their knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of dog bite victims using questionnaire survey. Simple random sampling procedure was used for recruiting study participants. A total of 384 study participants were selected through face to face interview using pretested structured questionnaires. The quantitative KAP score were dichotomized as adequate and inadequate knowledge, desirable and undesirable attitude, and good and poor practice. Descriptive statics and mixed effect logistic regression considering individual dog bite victims as a random effect was used to see the association of predictor variables towards adequate knowledge, desirable attitude and good practice. The Majority of respondents (64.3%) were males and 49.7% were aged greater than 45 years. About (80.02%) the respondents were married and 41% of respondents were illiterate. About 82.6% of the respondents have adequate knowledge. About 100% the respondent were heard about rabies.  From a source of information for rabies 53.65%, 26.56%, 11.72% and 8.02% of the dog bite victims were heard about rabies from health practioners, mass media, conference meeting and personal efforts respectively. All (100%) of the respondents knew that the main source of transmission for rabies in humans is dog bites. About 88.02% of dog bite victims believed that rabies cannot be treated after the onset of clinical signs. About 10.42% of the respondents do not practice immediate washing the wound with water at the site of infection. Majority of the study participant (44.3%) dog bite victims were used traditional treatment as the best option for dog bites. The study revealed that the dog bite victims have good knowledge and desired attitude and high-risk behavioral practices which call for awareness creation and education towards rabies transmission and control and prevention practices.

Abstract: In this modern digitalized world, businesses are required to be mindful both in terms of what they are doing and how they are doing it. The company’s brand is not just dependent on the quality of products they are offering to people but on the overall impact of the company’s operations on the society, environment and the economy. Their sense of social responsibility provides them with a competitive edge over their competitors in a crowded marketplace. CSR is a holistic and integrated management concept whereby companies integrate their social and environmental objectives with their business objectives. It works on a Triple Bottom Line Approach i.e. Company focuses on 3P’s; People, Planet & Profit while addressing all the expectations of its stakeholders. The majority of policy initiatives in the country are driven by the objectives of equal opportunities, minimizing poverty and human deprivation, focus on fundamental rights, etc. thereby leading to strong human development. The choices that we make today will be going to affect and influence our future generations. Despite all this inequality and disparity still exists. This year, the Indian Government implemented new CSR guidelines. These guidelines require Indian companies to spend 2 percent of their net profit on CSR. India is the first country in the world to make CSR mandatory. Including the CSR mandate in Companies Act, 2013 is a great step of engaging the corporate sector in the equitable development of the country. Earlier companies were required to spend 2 percent of the profits towards CSR and in case of failure to do so; they were required to give reasons. But as per the present amendment, companies are required to spend 2 percent of profits towards CSR in the given time limit or are required to turn over this amount of profits in the funds which are run by the government. The new amendment will require all the companies which qualify the provisions under CSR guidelines to spend the specified part of their profits towards Corporate Social Responsibility without failing.

Abstract: The tribal’s are an integral part of the Indian population. Their isolated ecology, economy, society, religious belief and centuries long association with the Indian society. The study of tribal’s, has been one of the oldest of anthropological concerns. In fact, the genesis of anthropology can be traced to the attempts, made by European colonists, travellers, explorers, and missionaries to understand and describe the ways of life of the native people they found in India. Tribal community have been facing socio-economic problems since ages. Even after the government schemes introduced for the upliftment of tribal educational and economy values, we don’t see much improvement in many parts of the country, There are special provisions made in the constitution for the STs, reservation of seats in all sectors, special provisions for the North East tribes, Today many tribe have converted their religion to live peaceful in the urban society. Tribes have been victim of racial and ethnical discrimination, they are becoming landless day by day due to rapid forest been cut down for mining purpose followed by their primitive agriculture practice , they are victims of a number of health issues, the government must introduce schools for tribes in their region , followed by provide them basic forest rights and forest management authority , they help in the Ayurveda development in the country, there knowledge on medical plant is very impressive because of their dependent on traditional products and herbs for health care and living.

Abstract: The Nakti Dam, belongs to the country of India in the Asian continent.. Here is an important and significant thing that scientists should be grasped and noted by the researchers regarding the changes in climate conditions.. Recently, due to climate changes, water bodies like rivers, lakes, ponds, reservoirs, barrages, dams, and glaciers etc. are drying up or overflowing, causing many catastrophic situations. According to the Indian Monsoon Time Scales, it is come to known that there will be climate changes in the coming years “i.e”  heavy rains and and floods etc. will occur until about 2075, and there will be droughts and famines until about 2150. So, based on the studies of the Indian Monsoon Time Scale, basins and catchment areas of the Nakti Dam  will be filled with waters in the coming years. This is just only a scientific observation with a scientific perspective and not that these consequences will occur and in some years it may be fulfilled and in others it may not be fulfilled. In this study, we can take any thing that is useful in scientific research. So scientists, engineers, irrigators etc. can monitor the conditions of the Nakti Dam through the establishment and study of the Indian Monsoon Time Scale. Through this research, we can know the future consequences of the above Nakti Dam catchment areas and basins. Plans can be made accordingly. So, Indian scientists can establish the Indian Monsoon Time Scale and predict what is going to happen in the above Nakti Dam basins and catchment areas in the coming 50 years roughly. Now let us know how to design and establish of Indian Monsoon Time Scale, how to study the climate changes and how to predict the future conditions of the above Nakti Dam. To predict the future conditions of the Nakti Dam,  Indian  Monsoon Time Scale is described below for the convenience of Indian scientists to study the precipitation includes drizzle, rain, sleet, snow, ice pellets, graupel, and hail etc. around the catchment areas of the Nakti Dam. Indian scientists may select and develop a suitable Monsoon Time Scale which is used to estimate the climate conditions in the catchment areas of the Nakti Dam as outlined below.
