Abstract:
E-learning is
expected to be the future of education. This paper deals with
the concerns that it entails and the development and growth that
e-learning offers to India. The dark realities of severe
economic muddles and discriminatory affairs of the country make
it exclusive only to the privileged. The major stakeholders, the
students are facing immense changes with education transitioning
from the traditional face to face method to online platforms, be
it in terms of their mental and physical health, all-around
development or them missing out on a wholesome learning
experience which involves interacting with peers daily. Further,
the traditional approaches in Indian pedagogy have clashing
views and difficulties in adapting to online education. Not only
them, but education going virtual effects a major part of the
society, be it the civil bodies or the private sector. The need
for the Indian educational ecosystem to compete with the
fast-growing educational technology market around the world is
interlinked with the economic and social evolution of the
nation. The paper also necessitates e-learning as a social
investment and signifies that government policies for e-learning
are the elements that solely define the future of e-learning .
Over a period of time it is found that different sectors of
economy have changed including education sector. Unlike any
other sector, education sector has seen many evolution and
changes. Education system changed from Guru-Shishya Parampara to
class room teaching, then teaching with the help of projectors
or LED and now its online teaching classes or teaching through
E-Learning portals or Web Based E-Learning (WBEL). It has been
seen from the past several years that online education system or
E Learning system has emerged as a powerful contender for new
education system. From the recent past it has been found that
several online courses have been conducted to educate millions
of people around the globe on various topics. In spite of
difference in culture and language and diverse population
E-Learning system has gained a lot of popularity increase in
affordability and purchasing power of Indians. The only reason
for growth in E Learning system is drastic change in information
technology and technological improvements. This article aimed at
examining the impact of E-Learning or Web Based E Learning
(WBEL) in modern India Education System.

Abstract:
Competency Mapping is a process of identifying key competencies
for an organization, the jobs and functions within it.
Competency mapping, the buzz word in any industry is not
complicated as it may appear. At the heart of any successful
activity lies a competence or skill. In the recent years,
various thought leaders in business strategy have emphasized the
need to identify what competencies a business needs, in order to
compete in a specific environment. The aim of the study is to
explore formalization of competency mapping in organizations of
India. In spite of numerous benefits of competency mapping,
implementation of the same in Indian organizations is still in
infant stage. The study is beneficial to fields of competency
mapping, pharmaceutical companies of India, Sales staff, HR
Professionals, academicians, organizations and researchers. In
today‟s scenario a new concept Competency Mapping has gained a
lot of significance among HR professionals as a tool for
improvement in recruitment and selection, performance
management, training and development, succession planning,
organizational development analysis, etc.

Importance of
physical education on academic performance
Dr Sandeep Siddhu
*Associate
Professor, Department of Physical Education, Mangalyatan
University Beswan Mathura Road, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh (India)

Abstract:
Physical education (PE) is part of systems serving the important
role of promoting physical health and impacting cognitive and
academic performance. Recognizing the advantages of PE, it has
been incorporated into school curricula worldwide with the aim
of fostering fitness and supporting overall student growth
(Cocca et al. 2021). However, there is debate surrounding the
complex relationship between active involvement in physical
education and academic success.
Health is
essential for a child's ability to learn effectively. Research
supports the idea that healthier children tend to excel
academically. Regular physical activity aids children and
teenagers in enhancing cardiovascular fitness, strengthening
bones and muscles, managing weight, alleviating anxiety and
depression symptoms, and lowering the risk of health issues.
National guidelines recommend that schools adopt a comprehensive
strategy to promote physical education and activity. These
guidelines encourage providing children and adolescents with
age-appropriate, enjoyable, and varied opportunities for
physical engagement. Studies have consistently shown that
physical activity offers numerous health benefits, including
improved cardiovascular and muscular fitness, better bone
health, positive psychosocial effects, and enhanced cognitive
abilities. Sustaining brain health is vital at every stage of
life, as it influences both mental functions and physical
activities.
The popular adage
‘health is wealth’ throws light on the need to maintain good
health for the overall wellbeing of individuals and societies.
‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’ is an oft quoted
proverb. Here, the emphasis is actually on the need to do
regular physical exercise. Our perception of health is so
illconceived that we tend to go for healthy foods instead of
following a strict exercise regimen and good eating habits. No
wonder, several people turn obese in their mid-twenties! ‘A
sound mind in a sound body’ is the English translation of a
Latin proverb quoted in academic circles everywhere. Our
forefathers were ever mindful of the attributes of good health
and were practitioners of regular physical activities. It is,
therefore, very apt to go deep into the attitude of college
students towards physical activity in general. Sports can be
used to work towards a number of developmental goals in humans
that ensure their total well-being. Sport improves public
health, promotes academic activities, enhances social
development and above all supports community life.

Milankovitch
cycles — Basics of Monsoon Time Scales: Formulation of Central
America Monsoon Time Scale

Introduction:
According to the Milankovitch cycle, the angle of the Earth's
axial tilt (obliquity) regarding the orbital plane (the
obliquity of the ecliptic) varies between 22.1° and 24.5°, over
a cycle of about 41,000 years. The current tilt is 23.44°,
roughly halfway between its extreme values. Milankovitch cycles
are a series of periodic changes in the Earth's orbit around the
Sun that affect the amount of solar radiation the Earth
receives, which in turn influences climate change. This tilt
does not remain constant at 23.44°. It oscillates up and down
and slowly moves to 24.5°. The oscillation of up and down will
be about 85 years, according to the Monsoon Time Scales. That
is, about 60 years up, 25 years down, in total oscillating once
every about 85 years. When it moves up to 22.1°, droughts and
famines occur, and when it moves up to 24.5°, heavy rains and
floods occur. Oscillating in this way, it slowly moves forward.
All this can be clearly observed in the Monsoon Time Scales. If
this is true, then we are close to reaching 24.5°, So, are there
going to be more climate changes in the coming centuries? What
are the Milankovitch Cycles? What is their importance in the
study of climate changes? How they determine the scientific
accuracy of Global Monsoon Time Scales? What is the
relationship between Milankovitch cycles and Global Monsoon Time
Scales? What are the new things that can be learned by Global
Monsoon Time Scales? What is the need to establish the Central
America Monsoon Time Scale to unravel the mysteries of the
Central America Monsoon? Let's discuss in this paper. I call on
world scientists to establish the Central America Monsoon Time
Scale following the Basics of Monsoon Time Scales outlined
below, based on the India Monsoon Time Scale which is
successfully proved out in practice and break down the
mysteries of the Central America monsoon.
