ABSTRACT:
Questionnaire survey on retrospective mortality and morbidity
baseline data investigation in the 23 kebeles of Abrahamo,
Bambasi, Homosha, Sadal, Pawe and Dibate districts, with the
objectives to identify the main constraints related with
livestock production and cause morbidity, mortality and
associated risk factors. In this survey, the demographic
features of respondents were assessed. 7.27%, 7.8%, 11.95%,
4.21% and 16.19% of crude mortality rate were recorded in
cattle, sheep, goat, equine and poultry respectively in six
woredas of study sites. The highest and lowest (16.2%) and
(4.21%) crude mortality rate were recorded in poultry and equine
respectively. Without poultry, overall crude mortality was
8.56%. 21.2%, 19.32%, and 35.46% of calf, lamb and kid of young
mortality rate were registered in the 23 kebelles. So, overall
27.1% of young crude mortality was recorded. Study livestock
owners indicated, 12.26% of Trypanosomosis, 10.72% of CBPP,
11.99% of Shoat pneumonia, 22.49% of NCD, 12.67% of avian
salmonella, 10.7% of CCPP, were recorded as morbidity rate,
while the lowest 5.93% of Bovine pastuerellosis, 6.70% of Shoat
pox, 3.39% of equine pneumonia, 3.07% ovine pasteurelloss, of
morbidity rate were recorded. 89.52%, 80.47%, 77.14%, 73.80%,
67.62% , 61.42% and 46.2% of respondents were noted as
(Trypanosomosis, Pasteuerellosis, endo parasite, NCD, PPR,
ectoparasite and CBPP) highest priority animal diseases
while,14.76%, 11.90%, 9.52%, 8.57%, 5.23%, 4.76%, 3.80% of
respondents indicated, Black leg, FMD, LSD, Rabies, Anthrax,
Brucellosis, CCPP as lowest priority diseases respectively. In
study areas, un appropriate treatment, irregular vaccination
schedule, less monitoring, evaluation system, and disease
surveillance were the main gap identified. Therefore, strategic
prevention and control policy would be implemented properly in
study area so as to control problems encountered.

STUDY OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND ADJUSTMENT AMONG VISUALLY
IMPAIRED STUDENTS
Dr. Satish Kumar
(H.O.D) GDR College of Education Simla Molana Road
Panipat-132103, Haryana (India)
Abstract:
Education is the primary need of an individual. It helps to
express inner potential, acquire knowledge, develop skills,
shape habits, attitudes, values, belief etc. along with
providing strengths and resilience to people to changing
situations and allowing them to develop all those capacities
which will enable him to control his environment and fulfill his
possibilities. “The meaning and aims of education have been
changing at different ages and stages in the process of
evolution” (Roy,1982). Unlike early period, now education is the
right of not only some specific group of people but also that of
every individual. The discrimination of caste, creed, sex,
economic status, physical and mental status exist no more in
education.

THE PERPESPECTIVE OF
EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY IN ADULT LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Ravinder Singh
Associate Professor, Geeta
University, Panipat -132103, Haryana (India)
drravindersingh1978@gmail.com
Abstract:
Leading educational
psychologists address problems in adult development and learning
in this book. "What Does Educational Psychology Know about Adult
Learning and Development?" (M. Cecil Smith, Thomas Pourchot) is
the introduction. "We Learn, Therefore We Develop" (Nira
Granott) tackles the problem of distinguishing between learning
and development. "Abstraction, the Will, the Self, and Modes of
Learning in Adulthood" (Juan Pascual-Leone, Ronald R. Irwin)
describes a process-analytic account of consciousness,
cognition, and personal factors that interact to determine
learning. "Extending Sociocultural Theory to Adult Learning"
(Curtis Jay Bonk, Kyung A. Kim) proposes an extension of
sociocultural theory based on Vygotsky's research and writing.
"On the Development of Adult Metacognition" (Gregory Schraw)
describes the development of metacognition in adulthood and its
relationships to knowledge and intellectual abilities. "Changing
Mind, Changing World" (Bruce Torff, Robert J. Sternberg)
describes the role of practical intelligence and tacit knowledge
in adult learning. "The Role of Adults' Beliefs about Knowledge
in School, Work, and Everyday Life" (Marlene Schommer) considers
the critical role of adults' epistemological beliefs in their
school, work, and everyday lives. "Adult Intelligence" (Phillip
L. Ackerman) presents a knowledge-based perspective of adult
intellectual ability marked in its distinction from traditional
views of intellectual functioning in adulthood. "Mnemonic
Strategies for Adult Learners" (Russell N. Carney, Joel R.
Levin) describes memory-enhancing techniques for those whose
memory abilities may be affected by aging processes. "Adult Age
Differences in Reading and Remembering Text and Using This
Information to Make Decisions in Everyday Life" (Bonnie J.F.
Meyer, Andrew P. Talbot) examines the interplay between various
reading processes and adults' abilities to use the information
they acquire from text across the life span.

Abstract:
According to Global Monsoon Time Scales, changes in climate are
going to happen in the Solomon Islands in the coming years upto
2075's. Future changes are expected to include a warmer
atmosphere, a warmer and more acidic ocean, higher sea levels
and larger changes in precipitation pattern. According to an
estimate, the climate of the Solomon Islands will change in the
coming years and Heavy rains and floods will occur. The rivers
that currently flowing normally will overflow. Dry rivers will
be full. The dried lakes will be full. Overall, until the coming
year 2075's, many countries of the world including the Solomon
Islands will be flooded with heavy rains, snow and other
precipitation and floods in the coming years. Through this
research proposal, we can know the future consequences of the
climate of the Solomon Islands and prevention and mitigation
measures can be made accordingly. So, scientists can establish
Monsoon Time Scale for the Solomon Islands and predict what is
going to happen in that country in the coming years roughly.
