Abstract: The interest in computer vision has been popularised since a few decades. With the passage of time, its efficiency and accuracy of face detection is being improved day after day. As per the speed of computer is being rapidly increased but we are still willing for much better, similarly the speed of detecting a face is also being improved for Excellency. This document describes the concepts and techniques to get a face detected through a camera by using open-CV and Python. In this process, a neural network is used to get accurate results in face detection and there are different algorithms adopted for a neural network such as Deep Neural Networks (DNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), etc. Tensor-Flow recently uplifted by Google while working on Neural Networks, is the great tool to train data set in a better way having three layers named input layer, hidden layer and output layer. With the help of open source libraries an image or a frame can be detected if there present the specific functionalities the library is about, similarly face detection library also focusses the face in the image and to get more accuracy hence we have the concept of Artificial Neural Network (ANN).

Abstract: Synthetic insecticides have been mainly used for the control of stored products insect pests. But have now becoming limited due to many drawbacks. Nano sciences and nanotechnology are the study of extremely small things at nm scale. The present study was carried at Chemistry Laboratory, Punjab Bioenergy Institute, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. Tribolium castaneum were collected from grain market, located in Faisalabad and population of insect was acclimatized to the laboratory. After extraction of plant materials (oils from Ricinus communis and Citrus paradise) biosynthesis of nano-particles was done accordingly to standard procedure. Toxicity bioassays was done by three concentrations (5, 10 and 15 %) of the plant oils (for each of the simple plant oil) and 100, 200 and 300 ppm (for nano-particles) were used. Data regarding mortality was recorded after 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours of the treatment application. In case of plant oil, highest mortality (36.12%) was recorded by R. communis at 15% and after exposure period of 96 (hr.) while R. communis silver nanoparticle gave 41.40% at 300 ppm. Repellency bioassay was done by area preference method. Silver nanoparticles repellency highest range was 67.89% at 15% concentration of R. communis and lowest was 28.31% at same concentration of the C. paradise oils, used. Hence, plant based insecticides can be helpful for the management of stored commodities insect pests.

Abstract: Due to great diversity in their forms and habitats, insects are seriously influencing man since long time. Among them, a significant role is played by the mosquitoes and the most widely affecting species include Culex quinquefasciatus, A. albopictus and A. aegypti which serve as vectors for many hematophagous diseases Various control measures have been used to control the mosquitoes but most important is the use of synthetic insecticides. Bio pesticides such as plant extracts and green synthesized nano-products have received much attention as potentially useful bioactive compounds against mosquitoes. This research focused on the use of botanical extracts and green synthesized silver nanoparticles of four different plants i.e. Azadirachta indica, Zingiber officinale, Syzygium aromaticum and Datura stramonium. Percent mean mortality was calculated. The results of the study indicated that on maximum concentration and all-out exposure time (96 hours) of application of plant extracts and green synthesized silver nanoparticles on mosquitoes Azadirachta indica based plant extract give highest percent mortality that was 79% and Silver nanoparticles of that plant also give highest percent mortality that was 92%.

Abstract: Stem cells are derived from embryonic and non-embryonic tissues. Most stem cell studies are for animal stem cells and plants have also stem cell. Stem cells were discovered in 1981 from early mouse embryos. Stem cells have the potential to develop into all different cell types in the living body. Stem cell is a body repair system. When a stem cell divides it can be still a stem cell or become adult cell, such as a brain cell. Stem cells are unspecialized cells and can renew themselves by cell division, and stem cells can also differentiate to adult cells with special functions. Stem cells replace the old cells and repair the damaged tissues. Embryonic stem cells can become all cell types of the body because they are pluripotent. Adult stem cells are thought to be limited to differentiating into different cell types of their tissue of origin. This article introduces recent research reports as references in the related studies.
