STUDY ON ORIGIN RICE IN INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

Abstract: Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the oldest and globally most important staple crops. The tradition of rice cultivation spans several millennia, a multitude of cultures and diverse ecogeographic regions from Iran, across the Indian subcontinent, to East and Southeast Asia. Phenotypic diversity found in rice cultivar groups and traditional landraces mirrors this richness of agroecological settings and the complex population histories.  The rice plant is a member of Poaceae (old Gramineae) family. The common cultivated rice plant is an annual which usually grows to a height of a half meter or two meters but there are certain varieties that grow much taller (6-9 metres). Some deep water rice varieties grow with the gradual rise of the flood water level.

Abstract: The life and the philosophy of D. H. Lawrence influenced his novels. The emotional turmoil of his life, his obsession with perfecting human relationships, and his fascination with the duality of the world led him to create his most experimental and pivotal novel, The Plumed Serpent. In The Plumed Serpent Lawrence uses a superstructure of myth to convey his belief in the necessity for the rebirth of a religion based on the dark gods of antiquity; coupled with this was his fervent belief that in all matters, sexual or spiritual, physical or emotional, political or religious, men should lead and women should follow. Through a study of Lawrence's life and personal creed, an examination of the mythic structure of The Plumed Serpent, and a brief forward look to Lady Chatterly's Lover, it is possible to see The Plumed Serpent as significant in the Lawrencian canon. Though didactic and obscure at times, the novel is an important transitional work.

Abstract: Swadeshi movement was one of the major events in the History of Indian Freedom Movement. It was started in 1905 as an agitation against the partition of Bengal and it spread to other parts of the country including Maharashtra. The Slogans of Swaraj, the concepts of boycott, National Education and the spirit of Swadeshi were spread from Bengal to Maharashtra along with other regions. Swadeshi is the first era of peoples movement. This movement was country wide movement. It united all country. Before the non cooperation movement congress was only the organization of argument. In the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi swadeshi movement of congress done the awareness among the people. Swadeshi movement gave impedance to the Indian National Movement. Extremist Lal, Bal and Pal turned swadeshi as a mass movement. Due to successful achievement of swadeshi movement British Government has passed the enactment of 1909 , i.e. Morley Minto act. This is the success of movement. The Swdeshi movement has a prominent place in politics and social system and Freedom movement of India. As a recent observes, swadeshi marked a major change in the depth and dimensions of concerted political hostility to the Raj.

Abstract: Alaska-Aleutian megathrust is a seismic activity region. Earthquakes are caused by tectonic plates, volcanic eruptions, geological faults, man-made activities and some other minor causes. It is the sudden movement of earth's crust. Tectonic plates are pieces of the earth's crust and upmost mantle. The earthquake belts exists along boundaries of tectonic plates. Earthquakes occur at transforms plate boundaries creating strike-slip lines, cracks in earth's crust where planets meet. They occur where plates are sub ducting, spreading, slipping or colliding. Geoscope Alaska-Aleutian megathrust India is proposed and designed by me in 1987 for all world seismic zones, faults, belts, tectonic plates  in easy and modern ways for unraveling the mysteries of the earth's underground and resources, studying the mechanism of geological hazards and exercising the benefits of mankind. India is also a dangerous earthquake prone area. Geoscope can be set up in the  Alaska-Aleutian megathrust  seismic area to study and predict the earthquakes 24 hours in advance.
