ABSTRACT:
Special Education as a separate system of education fordisabled
children outside the mainstream education evolved way back in
the 1880s in India. It was based on the assumption that
children with disability had some special special needs that
could not be met in mainstream Schools therefore, they need to
study in a separate school with other children having similar
needs. Special schools exists all over the world in the form of
day or residential schools, and also special classes are
attached to the mainstream schools. In 1947, India had a total
of 32 schools for the blind, 30 for the deaf and 3 for mentally
retarded. The special schools are generally organised according
to different disability categories. There are schools for
children with visual. The major disadvantages of separate
education in separate environment are that, the children staying
away from families may find it hard to readjust to their
families, peers and communities, and children usually have to
leave their families and communities to stay in
a residential setting because these schools are
usually not available in their immediate environment.

Abstract:
The greatest obstacle for saving lives in today's global
conflict and war tactics. Many civilians around the world are
standing in line for peace in order to escape the conflict.
People would vow that no country will be able to manipulate
another; that no country will be able to manufacture
mass-killing weapons. They believe that by making goodwill and
peace-loving endeavours in the world, they will bring about
heaven's prosperity. The whole planet is anticipating a human
world that seems to lead us to Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
(Mahatma Gandhi). Many years back, an extinct political
philosophy in pursuit of the human world as a promoter of
nonviolent policy by Mahatma Gandhi, and this ideology policy is
the main focus of this article. Here in the communication style
the missed values of Mahatma Gandhi were found. Standing on the
eve of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birthday celebrations, this
article would attempt to analyse Mahatma Gandhi's agenda and
philosophy in terms of communication style. This article would
attempt to determine how the relationship between communications
and Gandhi's ideology is related through extensive study.
Gandhi's concepts have been critically evaluated in this report
as a method of discovery and study.

Abstract:
The Mughal society was like a pyramid on the top of which was
the emperor and the nobility followed by the middle class whom
was a very minute population and the last and most heavily
concentrated was the poor class. The emperor though not
belonging to the local community enjoyed the power of a despot
with an unparallel status among the others. Followed by the
Mughal king was the class of nobility who were the bearers of
most important jobs of the state and usually they monopolized
the important ranks for themselves. The nobility was the most
beneficiary class of the state. They enjoyed privileges and led
an extravagant life. Their dresses and food was the most
expensive one and not only the officials but their families and
the relatives also used to exploit the resources of the state
for their mean. The nobility remained in control to some extent
by the earlier emperors but with the passage of time as the
interest of the rulers tilted towards their personal affairs
rather than the state matters then the nobility became more
extravagant.

Missing observations is one of the problems often encountered in
data analysis
Yem Funky
Abstract:
Missing observations is one of the problems often encountered in
data analysis. The remaining observations are either used or the
missing ones omitted before the analysis is done. In the
research, four estimators of linear regression model (OLSE, PRWE,
COCR and HILU) with autocorrelated error terms of order one
(AR(1)) were studied and the effect of missing observations on
them was determined. The mid-range measure of location was
adapted to estimating values and its performances were compared
with the existing ones namely; Amelia, Hmisc, Arithemetic Mean,
Median, Mice and Mid-Range. Monte Carlo experiments were
conducted 1000 times on a linear regression model with three
explanatory variables having autocorrelation values of 0.8, 0.9,
0.95, 0.99, 0.999 and error variance of 4, 25 and 100 at five
sample sizes namely; 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50. The study considered
situation where there 1, 2, 3 and 4 missing observations on the
dependent variable. The estimators were compared using the bias
and mean square error criteria. Results show that the PWRE and
COCR estimator are more efficient when there are missing
observations or no missing observation. Replacing the missing
observations with the estimated ones, the research identified
the arithmetic mean, median and mid-range methods with PWRE and
COCR estimator as better estimators. The results from real life
data set also support these findings.

Abstract:
Worldwide Interoperability for
Microwave Access (WiMAX) has emerged as one of key technologies
for wireless broadband access network while Coarse Wavelength
Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network (CWDM-PON) is one
of the potential solutions for future high speed broadband
access network. Integrating both networks could enhance the
whole network performance by allowing cost-effectiveness, higher
capacity, wider coverage, better network flexibility and higher
reliability. In this study, scheduling algorithm is proposed as
means to maintain the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of
two different media whilst allocating the bandwidth to the
subscribers. The NS-2 simulation results demonstrate how network
performances of the integrated CWDM-PON and WiMAX networks are
improved in terms of delay and throughput.
