Abstract:
China type Climate – Warm Temperate Eastern Margin
Climate. This type of climate is found on the eastern
margin of continent in warm temperate latitudes, just
outside the tropics & comparatively has more rainfall
than the Mediterranean climate in the same latitudes,
coming mainly in summers.
Many studies have been conducted on the climatic
conditions of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon
Time Scales and China type Climate Time Scale which can
help to estimating the past, present and future eather
conditions of the zone. Researchers in the zone have to
make Global Monsoon Time Scales and China type Climate
Time Scale.

Abstract:
These climates have an average temperature above 10 °C
in their warmest months, and a coldest month average
below −3 °C. These usually occur in the interiors of
continents, or on their east coasts, north of 40° North
latitude. In the Southern Hemisphere, this climate is
extremely rare due to the smaller land masses in the
middle latitudes and the almost complete absence of land
south of 40° South latitude, existing only in some
highland locations in New Zealand that have heavy winter
snows.
Many studies have been conducted on the climatic
conditions of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon
Time Scales and Cold Climate Time Scale which can help
to estimating the past, present and future eather

Abstract:
Cold desert climates (BWk) usually feature hot
(or warm in a few instances), dry summers, though
summers typically are not quite as hot as summers in hot
desert climates. Unlike hot desert climates, cold desert
climates tend to feature cold winters dry winters. Snow
tends to be rare in regions with this climate. The Gobi
Desert in Mongolia is a classic example of this. Though
hot in summer, it shares the very cold winters of the
rest of Central Asia. Cold desert climates are typically
found at higher altitudes than hot desert climates, and
are usually drier than hot desert climates. Cold desert
climates are typically located in temperate zones,
usually in the rain shadow of high mountains, which
restrict precipitation from the westerly winds. An
example of this is the Patagonian Desert in Argentina
bounded by the Andes to its west. In the case of Central
Asia, mountains restrict precipitation from the monsoon.
The Kyzyl Kum, Taklamakan and Katpana Desert deserts of
Central Asia and the drier portions of the Great Basin
Desert of the western United States are other major
examples of BWK climates. The Ladakh region, and
Lehacity in the Great Himalayas in India also has a cold
desert climate. This is also found in Europe, primarily
in Barde Reales near Tudela, Navarre and high altitude
parts of the Tabernas Desert in Almerķa, Spain and the
Karagiye Depression in Aktau, Kazakhstan. Arctic and
Antarctic regions also receive very little precipitation
during the year, owing to the exceptionally cold dry
air, however, both of them are generally classified as
having polar climates because they have average summer
temperatures below 10 °C (50 °F). Many studies have been
conducted on the climatic conditions of the zone and
invented the Global Monsoon Time Scales and Cold Desert
Climate Time Scale which can help to estimating the
past, present and future eather conditions of the zone.
Researchers in the zone have to make Global Monsoon Time
Scales and Cold Desert Climate Time Scale.

Abstract:
A humid continental climate (Köppen prefix D and a third
letter of a or b) is a climatic region defined by
Russian-German climatologist Wladimir Köppen in 1900,
which is typified by large seasonal temperature
differences, wit warm to hot (and often humid) summers
and cold (sometimes severely cold) winters.
Many studies have been conducted on the climatic
conditions of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon

Abstract:
The Desert climate BWh and BWk, sometimes
also BWn), also known as an arid climate,
is a climate that does not meet the criteria to be
classified as a
polar climate,
and in which precipitation is too low to sustain any
vegetation at all, or at most a very scanty shrub. An
area that features this climate usually experiences from
25 to 200 mm (7.87 inches) per year of precipitation
and in some years may experience no precipitation
at all. There are usually two or three variations of a
desert climate: a hot desert climate (BWh), a
cold desert climate (BWk) and, sometimes, a mild
desert climate (BWh/BWn). To determine whether a
location has an arid climate, the precipitation
threshold is determined. The precipitation threshold (in
millimetres) involves first multiplying the average
annual temperature in °C by 20, then adding 280 if 70%
or more of the total precipitation is in the high-sun
half of the year (April through September in the
Northern Hemosphear or October through March in the
Southern), or 140 if 30–70% of the total precipitation
is received during the applicable period, or 0 if less
than 30% of the total precipitation is so received. If
the area's annual precipitation is less than half the
threshold, it is classified as a BW (desert
climate) Many studies have been conducted on the
climatic conditions of the zone and invented the Global
Monsoon Time Scales and Desert Climate Time Scale which
can help to estimating the past, present and future
eather conditions of the zone. Researchers in the zone
have to make Global Monsoon Time Scales and Desert
Climate Time Scale.

Abstract:
Many regions close to the equator experience an
Equatorial Climate. These regions
include, the Amazon Basin (South America), the Congo
Basin (Africa), Malaysia, Indonesia and some areas in
northern Australia. Regions with this climate experience
high temperatures all year round. The average monthly
temperatures are about 26 – 28 degrees Celsius. The
annual temperature range (the difference between the
average temperature of the hottest and coldest months)
is very small. The annual temperature range may be as
low as 3 degrees Celsius. The diurnal or daily
temperature range (the difference between the highest
temperature in the day and the lowest temperature at
night) is usually greater. Humidity is usually very
high. Another major characteristic of this climate is
the high rainfall. These regions usually experience 2000
mm of rainfall or more in a year. Rainfall is high for
most of the year. Many equatorial regions are affected
by the ITCZ. As the ITCZ passes over these areas it
brings heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. In some areas,
the ITCZ causes two periods of very heavy rainfall every
year. One occurs when the ITCZ crosses these areas on
its way north and another occurs when it crosses these
areas again on its way south. The climograph below shows
the rainfall and temperature pattern of an area which
experiences an equatorial climate.

Abstract:
Hot desert climates (BWh) are typically found
under the subtropical ridge where there is largely
unbroken sunshine for the whole year due to the stable
descending air and high pressure aloft. These areas are
located between 30 degrees south and 30 degrees north
latitude, under the subtropical latitudes called the
horse latitudes. Hot desert climates are generally hot,
sunny and dry year-round. Hot desert climates also reach
similar latitudes in the Middle East, North Africa, and
coastal south eastern areas of Spain. Part of the Canary
Islands. (specially most of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote
have hot desert climates. Hot desert climates
usually feature hot, sometimes exceptionally hot,
periods of the year. The world absolute heat records,
over 50 °C (122 °F), are generally in the hot deserts,
where the heat potential is the highest on the planet.
Some desert locations consistently experience very high
temperatures all year long, even during wintertime. Hot
desert climates can be found in the deserts of North
Africa such as the wide Sahara Desert, the Libyan Desert
or the Nubian Desert deserts of the Horn of Africa such
as the Danakil Deser or the Grand Bara Desert deserts of
Southern Africa such as the Namib Desert or the Kalahari
Desert deserts of the Middle East such as the Arabian
Desert, the Syrian Desert or the Lut Desert, deserts of
South Asia such as Dasht-e Kavir, Dasht-e Loot, or the
Thar Desert, deserts of the United States and Mexico
such as the Mojave Desert, the Sonoran Desert or the
deserts of Australia such as the Simpson Desert or the
Great Victoria Desert and many other regions. Only one
region in Europe has a hot desert climate, the Almerķa
and a small area in the southwest of Murcia and
Alicante, Spain. Hot deserts are lands of extremes: most
of them are the hottest, the driest and the sunniest
places on Earth because of nearly constant high
pressure; the nearly permanent removal of low pressure
systems, dynamic fronts and atmospheric disturbances;
sinking air motion; dry atmosphere near the surface and
aloft; the exacerbated exposure to the sun where solar
angles are always high. Many studies have been conducted
on the climatic conditions of the zone and invented the
Global Monsoon Time Scales and Hot Desert ClimateTime
Scalewhich can help to estimating the past, present and
future eather conditions of the zone. Researchers in the

Abstract:
Hot semi-arid climates (type "BSh") tend to be located
in the 20s and 30s latitudes, typically in close
proximity to regions with a tropical savanna climate or
a humid subtropical climate. These climates tend to have
hot, sometimes extremely hot, summers and warm to cool
winters, with some to minimal precipitation. Hot
semi-arid climates are most commonly found around the
fringes of subtropical deserts. Hot semi-arid climates
are most commonly found in Africa, Australia and South
Asia. In Australia, a large portion of the Outback
surrounding the central desert regions lies within the
hot semi-arid climate regime. In South Asia, both India
and sections of Pakistan experiences the seasonal
effects of monsoons and feature short but well-defined
wet
seasons, but
is not sufficiently wet overall to qualify as a tropical
savanna climate. Hot semi-arid climates can also be
found in North America, primarily in Mexico, areas of
Texas near Mexico and sections of Southern California.
It can also be found in sections of South America such
as the sertćo and on the poleward side of the
arid deserts where they typically feature a
Mediterranean precipitation pattern, with generally
rainless summers and wetter winters Many studies have
been conducted on the climatic conditions of the zone

Abstract:
Mild desert climates (BWh or BWn) are
usually found along the west coasts of continents at
tropical or near tropical locations, or at high
altitudes in areas that would otherwise feature hot
desert climates. In South America, this climate is found
adjacent to the Pacific Ocean in sections of the Atacama
Desert, especially along the central and southern coast
of Peru, Lima, its capital, has a mild desert climate
that makes it one of the driest capital cities in the
world. In North America, this type of climate can be
found along the Pacific coast of the Baja California
Peninsula. In Africa, this climate is found along
sections of coastal Namibia Swakopmund. On the Arabia
Peninsula, this type of climate is found in sections of
Yemen. Mild desert climates are characterised by more
moderate temperatures than encountered elsewhere at
comparable latitudes (usually due to the nearby presence
of cold ocean currents) and, in the case of coastal mild
deserts, frequent
fog
and low clouds, despite the fact that these places can
rank among the driest on Earth in terms of actual
precipitation received. Temperatures are mild throughout
the year, usually not subject to any of the temperature
extremes typically found in desert climates. Some
publications do not have a "mild desert" category; in
these documents mild desert climates are sorted into
either the hot desert or cold desert classification.
Many studies have been conducted on the climatic
conditions of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon
Time Scales and Mild Desert Climate Time Scale which can
help to estimating the past, present and future eather
conditions of the zone. Researchers in the zone have to
make Global Monsoon Time Scales and Mild Desert Climate

Abstract:
An
Oceanic Climate (also known as marine, west coast
and maritime) is the Köppen classification of the
climate
typical of west coasts in higher middle latitudes of
continents, and generally features cool summers
(relative to their latitude) and cool but not cold
winters, with a relatively narrow annual temperature
range and few extremes of temperature, with the
exception for transitional areas to continental,
subarctic and highland climates. Oceanic climates are
defined as having a monthly mean temperature below 22 °C
(72 °F) in the warmest month, and above 0°C (32°F) in
the coldest month.
It typically lacks a dry
season, as precipitation is more evenly dispersed
throughout the year. It is the predominant climate type
across much of Western Europe, the Pacific Northwest
region of the United States and Canada, portions of
central Mexico, southwestern South America, southeastern
Australia including Tasmania, New Zealand as well as
isolated locations elsewhere. Oceanic climates generally
have cool summers and cool (but not cold) winters. They
are characterised by a narrower annual range of
temperatures than are encountered in other places at a
comparable latitude, and generally do not have the
extremely dry summers of Mediterranean climates or the
hot summers of humid subtropical Oceanic climates are
most dominant in Europe, where they spread much farther
inland than in other continents. Oceanic climates can
have much storm activity as they are located in the belt
of the stormy westerlies. Many oceanic climates have
frequent cloudy or overcast conditions due to the near
constant storms and lows tracking over or near them. The
annual range of temperatures is smaller than typical
climates at these latitudes due to the constant stable
marine air masses that pass through oceanic climates,
which lack both very warm and very cool fronts. Many
studies have been conducted on the climatic conditions
of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon Time Scales
and Oceanic Climate Time Scale which can help to
estimating the past, present and future eather
conditions of the zone. Researchers in the zone have to
make Global Monsoon Time Scales and Oceanic Climate Time

Abstract:
Rainforest Climate.
In an average year in a tropical
rain
Forest,
the Climate is very humid because of all the
rainfall, which amounts to about 250 cm per year. The
Rain Forest has lots of rain because it is very hot
and wet. This Climate is found near the equator.
A Tropical Rainforest Climate, also known as an
Equatorial Climate, is a tropical climate usually
(but not always) found along the equator. Regions with
this climate typically feature tropical rainforests, and
it is designated Af by the Köppen climate
classification. Tropical
rainforests have a type of tropical climate in which
there is no dry season—all months have an average
precipitation value of at least 60 mm (2.4 in). Tropical
rainforests have no summer or winter; it is typically
hot and wet throughout the year and rainfall is both
heavy and frequent. One day in an equatorial climate can
be very similar to the next, while the change in
temperature between day and night may be larger than the
average change in temperature along the year Many
studies have been conducted on the climatic conditions
of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon Time Scales
and Rainforest Climate Time Scale which can help to
estimating the past, present and future eather
conditions of the zone. Researchers in the zone have to

Abstract:
A
semi-arid climate or steppe climate is the climate of a
region that receives precipitation below potential
evapotranspiration, but not extremely. There are
different kinds of semi-arid climates, depending on such
variables as temperature, and they give rise to
different classes of ecology.
A more precise definition is given by the Köppen climate
classification, which treats steppe climates (BSk
and BSh) as intermediates between desert
climates, (BW) and humid climates in ecological
characteristics and agricultural potential. Semi-arid
climates tend to support short or scrubby vegetation,
with semi-arid areas usually dominated by either grasses
or shrubs. To determine if a location has a semi-arid
climate, the precipitation threshold must first be
determined. Finding the precipitation threshold (in
millimeters) involves first multiplying the average
annual temperature in °C by 20, then adding 280 if 70%
or more of the total precipitation is in the high-sun
half of the year (April through September in the
Northern temperate zone, or October through March in the
Southern), or 140 if 30%–70% of the total precipitation
is received during the applicable period, or 0 if less
than 30% of the total precipitation is so received. If
the area's annual precipitation is less than the
threshold but more than half the threshold, it is
classified as a BS (steppe climate).
Furthermore, to delineate "hot semi-arid climates" from
"cold semi-arid climates", there are three widely used
isotherms, Either a mean annual temperature of 18°C, or
a mean temperature of 0°C or −3°C in the coldest month,
so that a location with a "BS" type climate with the
appropriate temperature above whichever isotherm is
being used is classified as "hot semi-arid" (BSh), and a
location with the appropriate temperature below the
given isotherm is classified as "cold semi-arid" (BSk)
Many studies have been conducted on the climatic
conditions of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon
Time Scales and Semi Arid Climate Time Scale which can
help to estimating the past, present and future eather
conditions of the zone. Researchers in the zone have to
make Global Monsoon Time Scales and Semi Arid Climate

Abstract:
The tropical monsoon climate experiences abundant
rainfall like that of the tropical rain forest climate,
but it is concentrated in the high-sun season. Being
located near the equator, the tropical monsoon climate
experiences warm temperatures throughout the year. The
monsoon climate is found along the coastal regions of
southwest India, sri lanka, bangladesh, Southwestern
Africa, French Guina and northeast and southeastern
Brazil etc. The major controlling factor over the
monsoon climate is its relationship to the monsoon
circulation. Recall that the monsoon is a seasonal
change in wind direction. The "classic" monsoon
circulation of Asia exhibits an onshore flow of air (air
moving from ocean towards land) during the summer or
high-sun season, and offshore air flow (air moving from
land toward water) during the winter or low-sun season.
The change in direction is due to the difference in the
way water and land heat. Changing pressure patterns that
affect the seasonality of precipitation also occur in
Africa. During the high-sun season, the ITCZ induces
rain while the subtropical high creates dry conditions.
The monsoon climate of Africa, and South America for
that matter, are typically located along tradewind
coasts. Many studies have been conducted on the climatic
conditions of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon
Time Scales and Tropical Monsoon Climate Time Scale
which can help to estimating the past, present and
future eather conditions of the zone. Researchers in the

Abstract:
Tropical and subtropical desert climate, major climate
type of the Köppen classification dominated in all
months by the subtropical anticyclone (orsubtropical
high), with its descending air, elevated inversins, and
clear skies. Such an atmospheric environment inhibits
precipitation.
Many studies have been conducted on the climatic
conditions of the zone and invented the Global Monsoon
Time Scales and Tropical and Subtropical Climate Time
Scale which can help to estimating the past, present and
future eather conditions of the zone. Researchers in the
zone have to make Global Monsoon Time Scales and
Tropical and Subtropical Climate Time Scale.

Abstract:
Tropical Savanna Climate or Tropical Wet And
Dry Climate is a type of climate that corresponds to
the Köppen climate classification categories "Aw" and
"As". Tropical savanna climates have monthly mean
temperatures above 18 °C (64 °F) in every month of the
year and typically a pronounced dry season, with the
driest month having precipitation less than 60 mm and
also less than 100 – [total annual precipitation
{mm}/25] of precipitation.[1]:200–1
This latter fact is in direct contrast to a tropical
monsoon climate, whose driest month sees less than 60 mm
of precipitation but has more than 100 – [total
annual precipitation {mm}/25] of precipitation. In
essence, a tropical savanna climate tends to either see
less rainfall than a tropical monsoon climate or have
more pronounced dry Seasons. There are generally
four types of tropical savanna climate. Many studies
have been conducted on the climatic conditions of the
zone and invented the Global Monsoon Time Scales and
Tropical Savanna Climate Time Scale which can help to
estimating the past, present and future eather
conditions of the zone. Researchers in the zone have to
make Global Monsoon Time Scales and Tropical Savanna

Abstract:
It lies on the eastern margins of the continents in
subtropical belt between 20° and 48° latitude in both
hemispheres. The main characteristics of this region
are summers are warm and moist and winters are cold, and
during summer, trade winds blow from adjoining ocean and
moderate rainfall occurs which decreases towards the
equator and in winter, westerly winds blow from the
interior towards the oceans. These land winds do not
give rainfall and so winters are dry.

Abstract:
The equatorial belt extends roughly between 5°N and 5°S
of the Equator. It has uniformly hot and wet climatic
conditions throughout the year. The annual range of
temperature is low, and seasonal contrasts are at a
minimum. The combination of high temperature and high
humidity makes the climate unfavourable for sustained
human effort, but very favourable for the growth of
vegetation.

Abstract:
An earthquake zone is a region in which seismic activity
is more frequent. These zones are also referred to as
seismic zones and seismic hazard zones. Most
high-activity earthquake danger zones are situated along
the fault zones. Fault zones that are prone to seismic
activity are regions of the Earth's crust. The
occurrence of fault zones usually takes place in those
areas where tectonic plates meet. Fault zones are also
located around volcanoes.
African tectonic plates
is also an active seismic area. Geoscope
is very useful to detect the earthquakes hence Geoscope

Abstract:
Africa
has far fewer earthquake zones than other continents,
with little to no activity across much of the Sahara and
central part of the continent. There are pockets of
activity, however. The eastern Mediterranean coast,
particularly Lebanon, is one noteworthy region. There,
the Arabian plate collides with the Eur-Asian and
African plates. The region near the Horn of Africa is
another active area. One of the most powerful African
earthquakes in recorded history occurred in December
1910, when a 7.8 quake struck western Tanzania.

Abstract:
compared with the other six continents, Antarctica is
the least active in terms of earthquakes. Part of this
is because very little of its land mass lies on or near
the intersection of continental plates. One exception is
the region around Tierra del Fuego in South America,
where the Antarctic plate meets the Scotia plate.
Antarctica's biggest quake, a magnitude 8.1 event,
occurred in 1998 in the Balleny Islands, which are south
of New Zealand. But in general, Antarctica is
seismically quiet.

Abstract:
Asia is a hotbed of earthquake activity, particularly
where the Australian plate wraps around the Indonesian
archipelago, and again in Japan, which lies astride
three continental plates. More earthquakes are recorded
in Japan than any other place on earth. The nations of
Indonesia, Fiji and Tonga also experience record numbers
of earthquakes annually. When a 9.1. quake struck the
western coast of Sumatra in 2014, it generated the
largest tsunami in recorded history.
More
than 200,000 people died in the resulting inundation.
Other major historical quakes include a 9.0 quake on
Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula in 1952 and an 8.6
magnitude quake that struck Tibet in 1950. Scientists as
far away as Norway felt that quake.
Central
Asia is another of the world's major earthquake zones.
The greatest activity occurs along a swath of territory
extending from the eastern shores of the Black Sea, down
through Iran and its border with Pakistan and along the
southern shores of the Caspian Sea.
Geoscope is very useful

Abstract:
Australia and New Zealand are a study in seismic
contrast. While the continental of Australia has a low
to moderate risk of quakes overall, its smaller island
neighbor is another of the world's earthquake hot spots.
New Zealand's most powerful temblor stuck in 1855 and
measured 8.2 on the Richter scale. According to
historians, the Wairarapa quake thrust some parts of the
landscape 20 feet higher in elevation. Geoscope

Abstract:
northern
europe is largely free of major earthquake zones, except
for a region centered around western Iceland known also
for its volcanic activity. The risk of seismic activity
increases as you move southeast toward Turkey and along
portions of the Mediterranean coast. In both instances,
the quakes are caused by the African continental plate
where it jabs upward into the Eurasian plate beneath the
Adriatic Sea. The Portuguese capital of Lisbon was
practically leveled in 1755 by a magnitude 8.7 quake,
one of the strongest ever recorded. Central Italy and
western Turkey are also epicenters of quake activity.
Geoscope is very
useful to detect the earthquakes hence Geoscope
establishments should be taken in order to capture the
consequences just like earthquakes etc in the
underground area of this zone. The details of the
Geoscope are described below.

Abstract:
there
are several major earthquake zones in North America. One
of the most notable can be found on Alaska's central
coast, extending north to Anchorage and Fairbanks. In
1964, one of the most powerful earthquakes in modern
history, measuring 9.2 on
the
Richter scale,
struck Prince William Sound in Alaska.
Another
zone of activity stretches along the coast from British
Columbia to Baja Mexico where the Pacific plate rubs
against the North American plate. California's Central
Valley, San Francisco Bay Area and much of Southern
California are crisscrossed with active fault lines that
have spawned a number of notable quakes, including the
magnitude 7.7 temblor that helped level San Francisco in
1906.
In
Mexico, an active quake zone follows the western Sierras
south from near Puerta Vallarta to the Pacific coast at
the Guatemala border. In fact, most of the western coast
of Central America is seismically active as the Cocos
plate rubs against the Caribbean plate. The eastern edge
of North America is quiet by comparison, though there is
a small zone of activity near the entry to the St.
Lawrence River in Canada.
Other
areas of lesser earthquake activity include the New
Madrid fault region where the Mississippi and Ohio
Rivers converge near Missouri, Kentucky and Illinois.
Another region forms an arc from Jamaica to southeastern
Cuba and across Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Geoscope is very useful
to detect the earthquakes hence Geoscope establishments
should be taken in order to capture the consequences
just like earthquakes etc in the underground area of
this zone. The details of the Geoscope are described
below.

Abstract:
south america's most active earthquake zones stretch the
length of the continent's Pacific border. A second
notable seismic region runs along the Caribbean coast of
Colombia and Venezuela. This activity is due to a number
of continental plates colliding with the South American
plate. Four of the 10 strongest earthquakes recorded
have occurred in South America.
In fact,
the most powerful earthquake ever recorded took place in
central Chile in May 1960, when a magnitude 9.5 quake
hit near Saavedra. More than 2 million people were left
homeless and almost 5,000 killed. A half century later,
a magnitude 8.8 temblor struck nearby in the city of
Concepcion in 2010. About 500 people died and 800,000
were left homeless, and the nearby Chilean capital of
Santiago sustained serious damage in some areas.
Geoscope is very useful
to detect the earthquakes hence Geoscope establishments
should be taken in order to capture the consequences
just like earthquakes etc in the underground area of
this zone. The details of the Geoscope are described
below.
