Abstract
A two
dimensional vertically stretching sheet is configured in
this study. There is a flow of a non-Newtonian
electro-conducting reactive micropolar nanofluid over
this device with the influence of activation energy,
Brownian movement of tiny particles, thermo-migration of
particles and nonlinear thermal radiation. By means of
suitable similarity variables, the partial derivatives
governing the flow equations are remodeled into ordinary
derivatives and afterward solved by using a numerical
approach via Runge-Kutta Fehlberg method. The
consequences of this study reveal that the micropolar
fluid has the tendency to boost the velocity profiles
whereas there is a depletion of the momentum boundary
layer with higher magnitudes of the magnetic field term.
There is a reduction in the nanoparticles concentration
profiles with higher values of chemical reaction and
Brownian motion whereas the presence of activation
energy and thermophoresis term raises the concentration
field.

杜金评索罗斯的世界大观之辩
----读钉死全球化棺材钉子的多极世界之争

摘要:读杜金与索罗斯讲的世界大观概念:“开放社会”是对应“海洋文明”、“全球主义”(全球化),也联系沿海港口城市多的沿海地区,类似“液体社会”,会被“冲走”。而“封闭社会”是对应“陆地文明”、“多极世界”(多极化),是联系只有位于内陆腹地,冰川融化海平面迅速上升,意味着不会首先被淹没的地区,类似“山寨社会”,将继续存在。这使我们想到毛主席1935年,当时中央红军走完了长征最后一段行程即将到达陕北,作的一首著名的《念奴娇•昆仑》词。他以诗笔写道:“而今我谓昆仑:不要这高,不要这多雪。安得倚天抽宝剑,把汝裁为三截:一截遗欧,一截赠美,一截还东国。太平世界,环球同此凉热”。很多没有经历过二万五千里长征,和参加过抗日战争和那时国内革命战争的人,不知道未来“全球化”和“多极化”是能够很好统一的,“冷战”和空谈“摒弃冷战”,不是“战争与革命”的目的,只认为毛主席表达的是远大革命理想,不是亲身体验反日本帝国的侵略和进行的国内革命战争,能给人类未来世界发展,留下的极为宝贵的蓝图。

摘要:线粒体环图“内共生假说”、“非内共生假说”、“氢假说”等假说,都不能解答2022年底到2023年初我国宣布新冠疫情解封后,突然7-80%的人发生“阳了”的现象。而对“线粒体环图”存在类似的“旋图”研究的扩展,也许能共同理解如何介导免疫反应。

阿拉伯数字源头不在印度在中国初探

Abstract:
国际数学史最高奖获得者、新加坡国立大学蓝丽容教授,专门研究过阿拉伯数字的源头在中国问题,并且出版专著《雪泥鸿爪溯数源》。蓝丽容教授考证后得出结论:世称“阿拉伯-印度数字”的阿拉伯数字实际上起源于中国。无疑,蓝丽容教授明确定位了两种数字之间,阿拉伯数字系统1、2、3、4……对我们何等重要,是我们生活中不可或缺的一部分。

Uptake properties of some
plants species in homogenous Lead (Pb)
concentration - its implication for phytoremediation.

Uptake properties of four
plant species ( Zea mays , Brassica juncea, Brassica
napus and Thlaspi (Nocacae) caerulescens ) and
their varieties were investigated in a greenhouse
pre-phytoremediation pot trial. Varieties’
abbreviations were derived either from their accession
numbers or origin. Zea mays and Brassica
species were obtained gratis from the United States
Department of Agriculture (USDA) , while Thlaspi
species were obtained from field sites in Gang Mine and
BlackRock – Derbyshire, and the Royal Botanic Garden
(KEW), United Kingdom. This pot trial was done in two
stages – the seed germination experiment and pot trials
in 1000 mg/kg lead (Pb) added treatment with 0 mg/kg
Pb added treatment as control. Standard analytical
methods were used. Lead concentration of plants and
soil materials were determined using the Atomic
Absorption Spectrometer Perkin Elmer 400 after acid
digestion with nitric and perchloric acid. This pot
experiment that assessed the effect of Pb in a fixed
homogenous concentration (1000 mg/kg)) and found a
significant effect(p<0.05) of the Pb added treatments,
when compared to a control treatment (0 mg/kg Pb added).
Biomass and uptake varied by 20 to 100% within and
between sixteen (16) species/varieties. The
concentration and translocation factors (CF and TF) were
statistically significantly different (P< 0.05) between
species and within varieties as well as other growth
parameters, which showed the effects of the Pb added
treatment. Results enhanced the determination of the
uptake potentials of the plants studied and their
selection for further phytoremediation pot trials.
