Extension of
Comparative Analysis of Estimation Methods for Dirichlet
Distribution Parameters

Abstract:
The Dirichlet
distribution is a generalization of the Beta
distribution. This research deals with the estimation of
scale parameter for Dirichlet distribution with known
shapes. We examined three methods to estimate the
parameters of Dirichlet distribution which are Maximum
Likelihood Estimator, Method of Moment Estimator and
Quasi- Likelihood Estimator. The performance of these
methods were compared at different sample sizes using
Bias, Mean Square Error, Mean Absolute Error and
Variance criteria, an extensive simulation study was
carried out on the basis of the selected criterion using
statistical software packages as well as the application
of the criterion to real life data, all these were done
to obtain the most efficient method. The simulation
study and analysis revealed that Quasi- Likelihood
Estimator perform better in terms of bias while Method
of Moment Estimator is better than the other two methods
in terms of variance; the Maximum Likelihood Estimation
was the best estimation method in terms of the Mean
square Error and Mean Absolute Error; while Quasi-
Likelihood Estimation method was the best estimation
method with real life data.

Abstract:
Meanwhile the equation
cannot be solved by arithmetic undoing and requires
algebraic operations to be performed to simplify the
equation to give a solution. This phenomenon is called
‘the didactic cut’. It relates to the observation that
many students see the ‘equals’ sign as an operation,
arising out of experience in arithmetic where an
equation of the form is seen as a dynamic operation to
perform the calculation, ‘three plus four makes 7’, so
that an equation such as is seen as an operation which
may possibly be solved by arithmetic ‘undoing’ rather
than requiring algebraic manipulation (Kieran, 1981).

摘
要:首先证明了力的保守性具有伽利略变换的不变性,保守力不可能变换成显含时间的力;然后证明了圆周运动的向心力是保守力,推出了在地面系和小车系自然摆动的单摆在摆动过程中机械能都守恒的结论,验证了机械能守恒定律满足力学相对性原理,解决了力学界50多年的困惑,并对当前力学教材提出了几条修改建议。

Reflections on the Exercise of Over 50 Years Troubling
the Mechanics Circle

Abstract:
It is firstly proved that the conservativeness of force
has the invariance of Galilean transformation. The
conservative force can not be transformed into the force
containing time; and
then proved that the centripetal force of the circular
motion is a conservative force. It is derived, in the
ground and the car systems, the single pendulum of the
natural swing in the swing process, its mechanical
energy are conserved conclusions. It is proved that the
law of conservation of mechanical energy satisfies the
principle of relativity of mechanics, and solves the
confusion of more than 50 years in the mechanics
circle, and proposed a few changes to the current
mechanics teaching materials.

摘要:
2020年突如其来、同舟共济抗击新冠肺炎疫情,中国率先打响了一场疫情防控的人民战争、总体战、阻击战。但美国政客却大搞单边主义,霸权主义,从大打贸易战、制裁到脱钩、甩锅、“污名化”,分裂人类命运共同体。而川大的“科研孤儿”庞加莱猜想外定理,揭示空心圆球内外表面,翻转涉及点内、外时空通联,要害“不撕破”----暗含这类似新冠疫情大流行“联合国历史上最大的全球性挑战之一”中的开展国际合作,践行多边主义,团结互助,是全世界有效应对新冠疫情等全球危机的唯一途径。但“柯召--魏时珍猜想”要得到承认,需要在一个又一个类似于疫情考验上的真正扭转。这是中文世界科技进一步发展,最终整体超越英文世界科技才表现。

Abstract:
The studies reviewed above are only the important ones
in the vast sea of literature on productivity. Going
through the vast strands of literature it can be easily
concluded that there is no unanimity over the
methodology employed in various studies for measuring
productivity and the studies more or less confined that
the economic reforms did not have a substantial effect
on productivity growth. The characterization of
production technology in our study is associated with
the Translog Cost Function. Our study presents a method
for interpreting the growth of Total Factor
Productivity, directly linking the productivity growth
to key parameters of a specific translog cost function.
It is shown that productivity growth can be decomposed
into effects due to: (a) technical change, (b) scale
economies and (c) capacity utilization.

Abstract
摘要:正如人们看不见、摸不着时间,但用钟表时针走动的圆周循环,也能类似记录、显现时间一样----这是时间与虚拟生成转换用活的科学最经典的一例。反过来看牛顿、爱因斯坦、薛定谔、惠勒、德威特、巴伯、罗韦列和莫脱等对时间的认识,也不一定是错;但时间作为虚拟生成,有真实存在的一面。这表现时间作为类似虚数,相对实数是客观存在的----即便虚拟生成中,作假干坏事行不通,但科学的认识,类似由实数到虚数慢慢认知一样,虚拟生成是把所有实在的部分包含在其中的。
