Abstract: This article is designed for all C, C++ & Java beginners and is also for those who want to interact with the hardware in a more powerful way and this book excepts no formal education in programming and it is written in an easy, reveting and readable style ideally suited for self-study. Of course those who have already familiar with programming are likely to derive more benefits from this article. It does assume, however, a reader able to create at least a simple program. This article introduces you to the fundamental concepts of computer programming using C, C++ & Java languages. If you are just learning C, C++ & Java programs, this article will make an excellent companion to any C, C++ & Java tutorial and serve as a source of knowledge to your specific questions. And, by reading this article, you’ll have a broad, basic knowledge of C, C++ & Java languages. This article is for all programmers, whether you are a novice or an experienced pro. The beginner will find its carefully paced discussions and many examples especially helpful.

Abstract: Animal diversity is an important biotic component of any aquatic ecosystem. Huge biodiversity is found in Manawar water system. The Manawar Tawi is one of the most important rivers of Jammu region. It is one of the major tributaries of the Chenab River. In this study zooplankton and macro zoo benthos diversity was estimated. It was revealed on the basis of the present study on animal diversity that the members of the Ephemeroptera thrive well in the River Manawar Tawi, besides various other species. Besides others twenty two species of fishes belonging to five families have been recorded from the River Manawar Tawi. Therefore, these can be used as the most appropriate and efficient bio-indicators for assessing the health of the important aquatic ecosystem.

Abstract: Forty drainage water samples were collected from four areas in Gwagwalada area council, Abuja, Nigeria and screened for the presence of bacteria using Spread Plate Methods. The bacteria were identified on the basis of their morphology, cultural characteristics, biochemical test and Gram staining. A total of 7 isolates belonging to three genera were recovered. Maximum number (13/40, 32.50 %) of bacteria was recovered from Kuntunku, followed by Dagiri (9/40, 22.50 %), Agwandodo (9/40, 22.50 %) and the least number of bacteria was isolated from Phase I (7/40, 17.50 %). Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were equal in their prevalence and represented 25%, each while Strepcococcus pyogenes and Salmonella typhi were also the same and the least represented 12.50% each. The rate of isolation of the bacteria were tested at p = 0.05 level of significant. As a result of the pathogenic bacteria isolated from the drainage water samples in the Gwagwalada metropolis it is therefore recommended that the runoff from the drainage system should not be allowed to contaminate drinking water, because the isolated bacteria can cause several diseases of man.
